Always bearing in mind the search for operational excellence in all its production processes, Pernod Ricard Winemakers Spain has designed a plan for technological improvements and facility upgrades for its wineries, in line with the current economic situation and growth prospects.
To this end, several investments have been made, focusing on the expansion and modernization of two of its wineries, AGE and Campo Viejo, which have allowed for improved processes within these wineries, as well as increased productivity, enhanced quality of the final product, and increased safety and well-being of its employees.
The investments, which began in 2016 and will conclude this year 2022, have been specifically allocated to improving production and/or marketing conditions and to developing new references, procedures, and technology for wine products at Bodegas AGE and Campo Viejo; and, on the other hand, they have focused on the expansion of the production area of Bodegas AGE (Fuenmayor), which took place in 2017 and for which the services of LKS INGENIERÍA, S.COOP. were contracted.
These investments are co-financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural World, Territory and Population of the Government of La Rioja, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Spain and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), and have a total subsidy of €1,999,070.54.
